I'm Jules Renner. I fly somewhere in the range of eighty times a year for work, and at some point the suitcase stopped being luggage and became equipment.
Curated Roam is where I write that down. It's one person, no scores out of ten, no editorial board, no "our team tested". If a bag is here it's because I bought it and carried it, and if I stopped using it after a month I'd rather tell you why than quietly leave it off the list.
I keep bags for years and come back to update posts when a wheel starts dragging or a zipper gives out, because that's the part nobody writes about — month eighteen.

How this site pays for itself
Nothing on this site is sponsored, and there are currently no affiliate links — I pay for the bags and the hosting out of pocket. If that changes, the disclosure page changes first and every affected page carries a notice at the top.
What I will not do
- Take payment for a placement or a ranking.
- Write about a bag I have not bought and used myself.
- Pretend there is a team here, or a scoring system.
